  • Cornish Mutual

Speaker: Jeff Heasman The Insurance Institute of Plymouth & Cornwall will be hosting a free CPD event with the opportunity for you to sample some Spanish and Portuguese wines. The seminar will be presented by the popular Jeff Heasman, who, as well as running an insurance training business, is the owner of a wine business in Spain and a professional member of the Society of Wine Educators. About the session: There are lots of parallels between the world of wine and the past year in insurance and financial services. There are also some lessons that we can take from the world of wine in terms of how we can harness potential for the year to come, based on predicted trends. In this fun and engaging session, Jeff will combine his knowledge and experience operating a wine business in Spain, together with his knowledge and experience of providing training to insurance and financial services firms across the world, to provide a review of the last year and discuss likely trends for the year ahead. 5 wines will be used for tasting to illustrate and bring to life the review of 2023 and predicted trends for 2024. We will then follow the event with a quiz! If you would like to attend, please RSVP to adrown@cornishmutual.co.uk Spaces are limited to 30 so it will be based on a first come, first served basis.
