MO5 Training Day
The day will be run by Alan Chandler, Chartered Insurer Alan was previously an operations and project manager in three large global companies before setting up his own Training Company 10 years ago (www.alanchandler.co.uk). In that time he has taken more than 1000 people to ACII, trained national prize winners in most CII subjects including MO5 and has been a CII examiner. Topics covered in the day will include; •Civil and criminal law and the UK court system •Legal personality •The main torts and how they occur •The main principles underpinning the law of contract and agency •Making sure there is a clear understanding of insurable interest, misrepresentation /fair presentation of risk , proximate cause, indemnity, contribution, subrogation and looking at policy terms and conditions. •We will discuss the main statutes and case law that are likely to arise •We will look at how best to do the coursework •Finally we will do a mock Multiple choice exam to prepare all candidates for this part of the exam
