Speaker Biography
An economics graduate from Leeds University, Simon traded commodities for Barclays before moving upstairs to work as an Investment Banker. After 5 years in London, Simon and his wife Laurie decided it was time to return to their natural home but not before spending a year travelling around the world. On his return, a ‘chance’ meeting led to Simon beginning his own personal journey into the world of Performance Psychology.
A respected programme deliverer and accomplished keynote speaker, Simon has delivered to a diverse range of individuals and organisations; these include, Private Sector organisations such as Rolls Royce, Johnson & Johnson, Fremantle Media, Anglo American and many SME’s; Public Sector bodies such as the NHS and Fire Service, and sporting clients from Olympians and F1 teams to Premiership Rugby and Premier League Football. Simon has also worked extensively in education, as a regular guest lecturer in further education as well as within schools to both pupils and staff alike. These sessions focus predominantly on realising potential, developing high performance mindsets, mental skills and resilience.
Simon’s style is one of ‘pragmatic inspiration’, generating energy for personal and organisational change with the substance and genuine understanding to back it up and sustain it. Simon has delivered across 5 continents, in over 20 countries and delivers dynamic and powerful conferences speeches and programmes on subjects from the Psychology of High Performance, Leadership, Change, Winning Teams and Cultures to Innovative Thinking, Sales and Customer Amazement – focusing on the role of psychology in delivering successful outcomes.
