Insurance Institute of Reading to close - two local committees to be formed

A Special General Meeting of the Insurance Institute of Reading was recently held to to consider and agree the following motions:

1. The Insurance Institute of Reading is dissolved with immediate effect.
2. In order to maintain a local presence and to assist the institutes to whom the membership of Reading will be reallocated, to become two local committees, one of Cheltenham & Gloucester for Oxford/Swindon area and the other of Guildford for the Reading area

Council members from the Insurance Institute of Reading are currently working with the CII to reallocate members to neighbouring institutes.
