British Heart Foundation Charity Golf Day 23rd Sept 2019

The Insurance Institute of Reading has nominated the British Heart Foundation as one of its charities for 2019-20. We previously supported the BHF in 2005-6 and 2008-2011 and raised around £10,000 over that period and were able to make a donation in 2011 which was allocated to a local university research project funded by the BHF. Our President has been involved with fundraising herself since 2005 and is the lead volunteer for the Reading British Heart Foundation Volunteer Fundraising Group and held a successful golf day via the group last year that was well and generously supported by the insurance market.
