Wine Evening

Relax and enjoy tasting a special line up of wines for Christmas in the comfort of the bar at Secret Cellar in Tunbridge Wells. You will be guided through a range of wines that will suit the occasions and foods we enjoy over the festive season. Expect to taste sparkling wine, a range of whites and reds and either a dessert wine or a fortified wine. A platter of charcuterie and cheeses will accompany the wines.

If you are stuck in a wine rut and tend to stick to the same wines and grape varieties then this evening will introduce you to some different wines and styles. During the tasting you can expect to be guided through each wine and to pick up lots of practical advice and tips as well as learning more about wines in general.

Jo Maclean will be your host for the evening. Jo has spent her career in the wine industry; running a wine shop in Hong Kong, travelling through Europe whilst buying wines for Oddbins and heading up marketing in the UK for Codorníu, one of the oldest wine sparkling wine producers in the world.

This event is subsidised by the Royal Tunbridge Wells Institute but tickets are £20 per person payable by BACS payment.
