New Written Exam Centre

In years gone by the locations used for our written CII exams have not necessarily been determined by us. Over the last 18 months we received several complaints from different Sheffield Institute members and therefore the Sheffield Institute Council decided to take action.

Working closely with the CII, we are pleased to say that we now have responsibility for choosing the exam centre used by our members. We have chosen to use the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) which we use for many of our CPD events.

This week saw the AMP used for this purpose for the first time with 94 candidates taking exams over three days. We're pleased to say that feedback from candidates has been very positive.

We'd also like to say a very special thank you to Tony Hunt. Tony has been helping invigilate exams for the Institute for 20 years but with regret, this was to be his last session. And so, we presented Tony with a thank you present on behalf of the Institute and our members. Thank you again Tony.
