Outstanding Contribution Award

Calling all members of the Insurance Institute of Sheffield.

The Insurance Institute of Sheffield, alongside the CII, is always looking to celebrate success. We are therefore seeking nominations of members who have made an Outstanding Contribution during the years 2020 and 2021.

We are keen to recognise the achievement of any kind; whether voluntary work to help out in the pandemic, IT or back office operational staff adjusting to a digital world or extraordinary leadership to see teams and businesses through.

Same as previous years, two winners will be selected by the panel:

• one from the Personal Finance Society Community;
• one from the General Insurance Community,

Each winner will receive a trophy from the institute along with a cash award of £250. Both winners will be invited, as the guests of the Institute President, to receive their award at the Institute’s Annual Dinner on Thursday November 11, 2021

You can nominate yourself as long as your employer endorses the application form. If you are an employer, a friend, a colleague or a relative, you can also nominate a candidate who fits the qualifying criteria.

Applications are invited from CII members affiliated to the Insurance Institute of Sheffield, and who:

• has been working in the insurance or financial services industry for at least two years;
• is someone who is doing an outstanding job and/or;
• an individual who is making good progress in their career and/or;
• an individual who is contributing something to the wider insurance industry.

The judging criteria has been designed to be inclusive. You do not need to prove you have saved the world, but just someone who goes that bit further.

No current member of the Insurance Institute of Sheffield main council is eligible to submit a nomination.

We are looking for someone who deserves recognition; it could be you!!
