Business Protection Workshop
Hosted by Robert Betts of Legal & General, this interactive Business Protection workshop introduces attendees to the opportunities within the marketplace.
The workshop will introduce the latest research into Business owners' attitudes to financial risk. An interactive case study will explore the financial issues a business could face in the event of the death or illness of a director or key employee.
The workshop will review the various ways to structure the protection solutions for Key Person, Loan Protection and Share Protection. An overview of Relevant Life plans and Executive Income Protection are also covered.

The learning objectives are
- Quantify the business protection opportunity, the demographics of UK small businesses and how you can best advise your clients.
- Recognise the need for businesses to protect their debts, the loss of a key person and to also consider their shareholdings and protection for their families.
- Understand the various ways to structure the policies including the effects of taxation and the various tools available from Legal & General to support the advice process.
