Why you should attend this event:
Most people are comfortable working in roles they have carried out for a while but wonder what it might take to move to the next stage and take responsibility for being the leader. Many are confident they could do it better than their current leaders! This is your opportunity to understand some of the challenges you will face and to start to prepare yourself to ensure you can do just that!
Who should attend:
This will be of interest to individuals who have an eye to career progression and future roles involving leading and developing others (eg teams of account executives or brokers/underwriters). It will also be of use to existing, and particularly newly appointed leaders who feel they may benefit from an insight into the common issues experienced by people in similar roles. You may feel that there are people within your organisation who have potential to be your future leaders who would benefit from an insight into some of the challenges they can expect to face.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the session you will have a much better idea of the skills that you need to develop to move to the next stage in your career development and you will have a good understanding of the issues outlined above
