Charities Shield - Winner

SOUTHAMPTON INSTITUTE IS A JOINT WINNER OF THE INSURANCE CHARITIES CENTENARY SHIELD

The Insurance Institute of Southampton is delighted to announce that it has been awarded The Insurance Charities Centenary Shield, jointly with the Insurance Institute of Leicester, for the year 2014/15.

The shield is awarded in recognition of both fund raising and raising awareness of The Charities and was previously won by Southampton in 2010. In announcing the winners, Joy Thornicroft, CEO of The Charities, said that the Trustees were particularly impressed by the range of fund raising activities organised by Southampton.

Last year Southampton was awarded a Highly Commended certificate, in recognition of the fund raising achieved in the year 2013/14. The next event in support of The Charities is the Southampton Quiz Night in November.
