The Golf Society (SIGS)

We have a well supported golf society (SIGS) with many events being held every year.

Our annual fund raising golf competition on behalf of The Insurance Charities, and the Insurance Charities awareness week, was held at Cams Hall Estate Golf Club on Thursday 6th August 2015. Entrants - either as individuals or as teams of four, played an 18 hole stableford competition, with prizes for both categories. All entrants had the opportunity to win free entry to The Insurance Charities National Final which was held in September.

The dates for our 2015 events are below:

14th September - Dudsbury - (12.00)

15th September - Insurance Charities National Golf Final - Whitefields Golf Club, Draycote Water near Rugby

20th October - Tidworth - (9.30)

The winners of the SII 2014 Charity Golf day, which was held on the 7th August at Cams Hall Golf club were:-

• Individual winner - Paul Reynolds (Meon Marauders)

• Runner-up - Peter Bush (PIGS)

• Team winners - Annelids (PIGS II)

• Nearest the Pins - Keith Hartley (PIGS) and John Ellis (PIGS)

• Best Front Nine Holes - Dan Jones (Zurich)

• Best Back Nine Holes - Peter Ward (Annelids)
