Mock Trial

The Insurance Institute of Southampton invites you to attend a Mock Trial, covering a motor/RTA case.

This extended CPD event offers a unique experience and 3 hours CPD credit. The mock trial will take place in conjunction with Albion Chambers of Bristol.

All attendees will be provided with a package of materials outlining a claim which is disputed and is therefore listed for a trial. There will be an opportunity to read through the papers, watch the trial in progress and participate in feedback and questions.

If you have ever wished you were able to attend trials more often to learn what goes on this is your opportunity. Insurance professionals from underwriters to loss adjusters and claims professionals should all attend.

Following this CPD session attendees will have a greater understanding of the legal processes and how claims handling impacts on the legal process.

The Mock Trial will be held in the Markus Liebherr Lounge, St Mary's Stadium, Britannia Road, SO14 5FP,on the 23 November 2016, 12.00 noon - 5.00 p.m.

A free buffet lunch will be provided, please advise when booking if lunch is not required. If you need us to accommodate any specific requirements please advise when booking in order that we can make the necessary arrangements.

Remember, all of our meetings are FREE and open to all who work in the industry, not just members of the CII. Guests are very welcome. successful first event we have put on a second event to allow those who were unable to attned to experience the drama of the courtroom in our mock trial.
