We welcome all members & guests to attend a seminar which will be presented by Tim Wright from Ocuair.

In this session, hear how drones are increasingly being used in the insurance industry (including visual, condition and thermal surveys), what the legalities of drone flying are and when a drone survey may (and may not) be appropriate.

Ocuair use drones and other systems to gather data from unrivalled perspectives, providing support information to enable customers to make informed decisions. Our surveys take place from the safety of the ground enabling us to gather data quickly and efficiently, whilst maintaining exceptional quality. The power of our diverse range of products and services is how they link and compliment each other, providing the client with the complete picture.

Tim has an MSc in Sustainable Development and has a wide breadth of knowledge within the energy, environment and climate change sector. Tim is a qualified infrared thermographer and regularly uses this expertise and knowledge to deliver CPDs on both Drones and Infra red thermography.

Tim has worked across the private and public sectors including at Research Councils UK and at an award winning energy reduction company. Acting in both a Business Development and surveying capacity, Tim currently engages with a diverse range of clients within the public and private sectors, including local authorities, universities, housing associations, construction companies, building surveyors, architects, asset managers and pension fund managers.

  • To help you understand what to look for in your drone operators.
