We welcome all members & guests to attend a seminar which will be presented by Andrew Hooker from Thatcham Research. Andrew has been with this organisation for 10 years, working in repair procedure research, then latterly within the field of Future Vehicle and Technology research.

Andrew also travels globally, engaging with OEM and vehicle manufacturers on new and emerging technologies, assessing and influencing the impact of these in terms of complexity and cost.

Typically, Andrew will be looking at new models as far ahead as the year 2028, and new technology strategies through until 2040. This is shared with insurance members of Thatcham through monthly reports to underwriters and engineers”.
