Overview
This presentation will explore the concept of Environmental Impairment Liability and provide some examples of claims.
Learning Objectives
By attending this event, delegates will be able to understand:
- the concept of environmental impairment liability (EIL) including cover and limitations;
- how the cover dovetails with public and products liability;
- the areas and occupations where the cover is required;
- the consequences of not advising clients of the availability of cover.
About the speaker
Roger is the managing director, Land Based Underwriters. Over the last 10 years Roger has added environmental liability to his expertise and has led the development of this class of insurance in the agricultural sector and now is heavily involved in providing solutions in the wider market.
It will be held at the The Ageas Suite located on the second floor of the building behind the turn stiles at The Ageas Bowl on 9 October 2019 from 12.15pm until 1.45pm
