STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) Financial Services Certificate Course, February to November 2023.

The Personal Finance Society Hants & Dorset, Surrey and Thames Valley Regional Committees in association with the Insurance Institutes of Bournemouth, Guildford, Reading and Southampton are proposing a FACE to FACE 10 day course over 7 months who are studying for and taking the STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) Financial Services Certificate Exam in November 2023.

This a FACE to FACE event. The venue is Cams Hall, Cams Hill, Fareham, PO16 8AB. There is free parking onsite. We would like to thank HSBC Life for sponsoring today's event.

This exam sits outside of the CII exam qualification framework. It is the practical application of trust and taxation knowledge you will gain from the course study.

Each day will commence at 1000 and finish by 1600, with breaks timetabled for lunch etc throughout the day. Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

Day Five 23/06/23 Module 9: Post Death Matters; Module 10: Trusts Used in Financial Services;

Day Six 20/07/23 Module 11: Trust Taxation;

Day Seven 24/08/23 Module 12: Trustee Duties; Module 13: Incapacitated Client;

Day Eight 28/09/23 Module 14: Philanthropic Client;

Day Nine 19/10/23 Review: Exam technique/timing;

Day Ten 02/11/23 Revision, revision, revision..........
