Dementia Awareness (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Month)
Session Description
Dementia Friends is a social action movement, led by the Alzheimer's Society.
Lasting around 45 minutes, a Dementia Friends Information session is a way to understand more about dementia and be better able to support others in the workplace or community who are living with dementia
By the end of the session you will understand the 5 key Dementia Friends' messages and will be able to decide if you would like to become a Dementia Friend yourself.
Speaker Bio
Claire Lashbrook is a Dementia Friends Ambassador who has received training from the Alzheimer's Society in order to run this session
