Overview:
Are you coping with the fast-moving pace of insurance? Do you have the skills to innovate to solve the tough challenges you, your team and your organisation are facing?
Do you struggle and feel under pressure when asked to come up with new ideas to solve problems? Do you want to learn about creative techniques that will inspire you to have different and new solutions that solve your challenges?
Join this two-part series to learn and practice innovation tools that you can put to immediate use that will make innovation better. Hosted by Harvey Wade, an award-winning innovator and ex-innovation lead at Allianz and Cisco, he works with insurance organisations to make them better at innovating.
Session 1: Discover your innovation superpower and how to understand problems better to solve them
Everyone can be innovative; each brings a unique perspective that enables successful innovation. In this session, you will identify your innovation strengths and learn tools to dig into problems so that you can come up with better ideas.

- Recognise your personal innovation superpower and how you best support innovation.
- Learn and practice tools that enable you to explore problems to understand how to best solve them.
- Understand the building blocks of ideas so you can identify how to improve them
Speaker Bio:
Harvey is an experienced, award-winning, innovation leader who delivers business impact, developing new propositions and solutions to solve user needs. With almost 20 years experience in formal innovation roles, plus an additional 10 years in insurance with Commercial Union, CGU, and Allianz, he knows what it takes to create, drive and sustain innovation, changing cultures and create buy-in at all levels.
Harvey founded Innovate21 to enable leaders and their organisations deliver greater impact from innovation, such as Chaucer, Thomas Miller, Ecclesiastical, Hiscox, Cisco, Pinsent Masons, EDF, Scottish Water and the WHO. A regular conference speaker, award-winning blogger and contributor on MBA and Exec education programmes, his practical innovation experience spans many sectors.
