The Insurance Institute of Sussex is delighted to offer its members and guests the opportunity to join us at our first informal networking and mentoring session. This NextGen event will take place both in person and virtually, and will allow you the chance to hear how our President, Darren Pollard, started out in insurance and how this ultimately led to him founding and running his own business. There will also be plenty of time to ask questions, network and swap and share your own experiences with others during this morning session.

Through its interactive and engaging instructor-led sessions, the RO6 preparation day aims to increase your chances of passing the exam. This intensive workshop will work through the case studies that will be examined in the April 2025 sitting. The session is recorded and a copy is sent out to all delegates afterwards, together with practice questions.

This session hosted by Zing365 will give you an overview of the key components of the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the requirements for sound Data Security in an easily digestible and practical format. We will explore how the regulations and laws work in conjunction to ensure that customers, employees and the firms’ information and data is adequately protected from theft or misuse, with particular focus on practical actions to be taken in a "new" hybrid working environment.
