Arundel Tour

Wednesday, 15 June 2016
5:45 pm – 8:00 pm (UK time)

Following the success of last year's tour of Lewes, we are delighted to be able to offer members (and up to one guest each) a chance to wander around another of the many historic towns that fall within our local institute's area.

This time, we will be touring the centre of Arundel. Focusing on the High Street and its immediate surrounds, this 90 minute tour will include a brief visit to both the 19th Century Cathedral and the much older St Nicholas' Church.

The evening starts outside the Norfolk Arms and will end at the nearby Swan Hotel for a well deserved, complimentary drink (house wine, beer or a soft drink). Covering just 0.75 miles, this means there will be plenty of time to learn about this historic town's fascinating past and the walk should not be too exerting for anyone (though the High Street is on a hill!)

Online Booking
This tour costs just £8.50 per person (non-refundable) and is open to members and up to one guest each. Places are strictly limited to just 30 walkers, so if you would like to join us, please act quickly by using our online booking and payment system by clicking on the Book Now button below.

Please note: Your booking can only be confirmed once payment has been received. If you experience any difficulty in paying online, please email Susan Stamp at secretary@sussexcii.org.uk urgently.

Additional Information
Whilst we have planned for this to be a fine evening, the tour will take place whatever the weather, so please dress appropriately for the conditions on the day.

There are several car parks in the area, though charges may apply at certain times of day.

Arundel Station is approximately 15 minutes' walk from the Norfolk Arms.
