Different professions, different perspectives

Clair Hall
Tuesday, 28 June 2016
5:30 pm – 7:15 pm (UK time)

Insurance data is critical to everyone involved in insurance, yet with underwriters, actuaries and accountants all looking at this data in different ways, this can lead to communication problems between the groups (partly to answer the different questions each area asks!).

If you would like to understand these different views of data and explore the advantages and disadvantages of each, join us on Thursday 28 June as Dave Westall leads this free 1.5 hour CPD seminar at Clair Hall, Haywards Heath.

Starting at the slightly earlier time (5.45), Dave will define the concepts of "combined ratio" and "return-on-equity" and he will also explore a model to "translate" between "accountant speak" and "underwriter speak" - with a copy of the Excel model being emailed to each attendee.
