Preparing to weather the storm 1987-2017
The early hours of 16 October 1987 saw force 11 winds batter Sussex and the rest of the south of England as a "once in every 200 years" storm wreaked havoc to buildings, and claimed 18 lives.
Now, 30 years later, what lessons have been learned from the events of this storm which cost insurers £1 billion?
To find out the answer, join us on Wednesday 4 October 2017 as Gary Davess, Director Specialty & Personal Lines, Allianz and Nick Lock, Head of Property Claims, Allianz give us an insight into how weather events are now managed in the UK insurance industry and the way that technology is changing the management of claims.
