Building on the theme of the CII initiative "Insuring Women's Futures", this free 1.5 hour webinar is geared towards women and financial planning professionals who are interested in learning more about the key issues for women and their future financial resilience.
The session is designed to highlight what women need to know on their quest for financial independence and has been scheduled to run shortly before Talk Money Week - an annual campaign to get the nation talking about money!

This webinar is designed to be thought provoking with, hopefully, some "lightbulb" moments for particpants. There will also be the opportunity to discuss and share experiences with others who are attending.

To help ensure that the event is as interactive as possible, we have limited the session to CII/PFS members only and bookings are capped at 25 members in total. Bookings will be on a first come, first served basis and you will need to enter your CII/PFS PIN at the time of booking.

About our speaker
Alison Cooper has extensive experience within the insurance industry in a career that has spanned over 30 years. During the last 20 years, Alison has run ACT One Training Services Ltd, an independent training consultancy.
Alison’s career started with Phoenix Assurance on the life side and then continued with Sun Alliance, when she headed a New Business team, with branch underwriting authority. Following achievement of her ACII, she joined MGM as an Inspector looking after a panel of brokers in the City of London.
Following redundancy, Alison changed career direction, by qualifying to teach and in 1998 established ACT One Training Services Ltd.
Alison achieved Fellowship (FCII) in 2009 and also has her Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS). Alison has delivered many CII Face to Face training events for financial advisers, following the first benchmark qualification.
Alison has always believed in the importance of financial independence for both men and women. This belief is founded on the early examples set by her parents and the experience gained while giving financial advice.
Alison is a CII education champion.
