The cyber risks facing businesses today

Tuesday, 08 September 2020
11:00 am – 12:00 pm (UK time)
    • Laura Potts, Development Underwriter, Hiscox UK

Cyber risks continue to dominate the market and this is a subject that is, perhaps, even more relevant with so many people working from home at the moment. We are therefore delighted that Laura Potts, Development Underwriter at Hiscox UK, will be running a webinar for us on Tuesday 8 September 2020.

Taking place online, this free one hour webinar replaces the event we had to postpone earlier in the year. It will see Laura looking at how cyber insurance has evolved over time, the risks facing businesses today, what a cyber attack looks like in the real world and how a typical cyber policy can protect businesses in the event of a loss.

Online Booking
This event is open to all members and their guests. If you would like to join us, please use our online booking form by clicking on the Book Now button below.

Please note that this webinar will be run using Webex technology and you may need to install relevant software onto your device in order to follow the webinar.

Full login details will be emailed to delegates when they reserve their place.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the seminar, delegates will be able to:

  • explain how cyber insurance cover has evolved since its emergence

  • recognise the basic cyber-related exposures facing businesses

  • describe what cover a typical cyber insurance policy could include

  • understand what additional services a cyber insurance policy could include

  • understand how COVID-19 has changed cyber exposure
