CII Annual Dinner
Celebrating 104 years of the Insurance Institute of Swansea and West Wales
It is with great pleasure that we announce that The Insurance Institute of Swansea and West Wales Annual Dinner will be held at the Marriott Hotel, Swansea on the 25th November.
The Annual Dinner is always the highlight on the institute calendar, offering a fantastic evening of delicious food, fine wine and excellent networking. The institute's President, Andrew Boyt, would be delighted if you and your guests could join us for this very special occasion.
The ticket price has been held at the same as last year, with individual tickets costing £52 per person.
This includes a delicious three course meal and entertainment from our President and respected after dinner speakers including comedian Gareth Thomas.
Seating is arranged in tables of 10 so you can buy a full table for you and your guests or a few tickets and we will seat you with like minded diners.
This is a black tie event and Dinner Jackets with ties should be worn by the gentlemen and evening dresses or cocktail dresses by the ladies.
The bar in the Rhossili Room will open at 6.30pm followed by the call to Dinner in the Gower Suite at 7pm. After the formal Dinner we will have music and dancing to 1am.
The menu is set out below. If you and/or your guests have any dietary requirements or would prefer the vegetarian starters and/or mains, please contact our Dinner Secretary in advance of the event, so this can be arranged for you.

Low and Slow Short Rib of Beef served with thyme and sea salt roast potatoes, fine beans and shallots, rosemary roast butternut squash

As usual we expect demand to be high so please reserve your ticket(s) as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Your table plans can be forwarded at your earliest convenience. Dinner Jackets and ties should be worn by the gentlemen and evening dresses or cocktail dresses by the ladies.
There will be a Charity Raffle at the event with proceeds going towards the Presidents Charities: Multiple Sclerosis, Cats Protection League and Ty Olwen Hospice. Last year we raised over £1300 for Mind Cymru
We always have a fine range of raffle prizes, if you would like to donate a prize please advise our Dinner Secretary.
A special rate of £95 for a single room and £105 for a double/twin room, breakfast included, has been negotiated with the Marriott. These rooms can be booked directly with the hotel and you should indicate that you are attending the dinner to obtain the preferential rates. Their phone number is 01792 642020.
