Council is open to members of all ages and career paths - claims, broking, PFS, loss adjusting, call centres, underwriting.

Your local institute is run by a small team of members who work in the insurance and financial services sectors. Like you, they have their own professional and personal commitments, but they also offer some of their own time to host local events and organise CPD sessions for the benefits of other members.

As well as giving something back to your profession, being a member of a council is a great way of raising your own professional profile, engaging with like-minded professionals and shaping the membership services offered across the region. Companies including Douglas Ins, Prescott Jones, Thomas Carroll, Claims Connexion, Davies Craddock and Towergate are represented on the council - if your company isn't, why not get involved and have a say in the way the CII serves your staff?
