Webinar: Bank of England presentation on the Monetary Policy Report

This session covers the Bank’s central scenario for the economy in light of the impact of covid-19 and the implications for growth, inflation and unemployment. The discussion will touch on some of the key drivers affecting the outlook – both UK and global - as well as the principal challenges for corporate cash flow and the capacity of the financial system to respond and mitigate those challenges.

Learning objectives:
At the end of this one-hour presentation, delegates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of:

  • UK Monetary Policy

  • The outlook for the UK economy

  • Contrasts with the general financial crisis of 2008

Attendees are encouraged to share their own views and insights.
