This presentation will be of value to those involved in Commercial and Event insurance, underwriting, broking or anyone wishing to widen their knowledge of common health and safety legislation and breaches.
About the Session
Over the last couple of months as businesses have started to re-open each has had to re-assess their risk management to make sure that they are able to return to work safely. This session will give us an overview of a Risk Managers perspective on the areas that businesses need to consider, what they need to do when the worst happens and an outbreak occurs and how they plan for the future.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the session, delegates will understand:
- the areas businesses need to consider when opening up after a full or local lockdown
- How to deal with an outbreak in the business
- Procedures for bringing vulnerable staff back into the workplace
- Business planning for the future
Speaker Biography
Stuart Robertshaw started his career in insurance broking in 1986 working for several broking houses before becoming a trainee surveyor with a leading broker and moving into a technical role.
In 2000 he started Robertshaw Technical Insurance Services working with the clients of small and medium sized brokers to deliver Risk Management Programmes into their businesses. Over the past 9 years he has developed a speciality in Event Safety predominantly corporate events as well as continuing to provide advice and training to clients throughout the UK in a wide range of industries.
Stuart has served as President of the Insurance Institute of Leeds on 3 occasions, was a member of the CII’s Representative Council and has been a member of Leeds Institute for 34 years.
Stuart will be kindly donating part of his fee for this presentation to Street Angels, an international charity for which he volunteers
